We've had a fun weekend, lots of laughter and stories! Karin and I took a road trip to explore the Columbia River Gorge, played
with puppies, and planned for the litter. The dogs loved one another immediately. Aurora gets so excited after a tie, she throws
pillows in the air, howls, kisses Kai's face, runs around in circles....it is SO FUNNY. Aurora clearly enjoys her boytoy Kai, and
they were inseparable all weekend. Two awesome temperaments with this litter....both confident, friendly, playful, laid back.

New Years Puppies
Moon Shadows it pleased to announce the upcoming co-own litter with Shilohs of the Salish Sea!
"Moon Shadow Salish Summer" Sunny has been bred to Aslan of Solace Shilohs. This will be the second pairing of these two
amazing shilohs. Sunny and Aslan's first litter gave us exceptionally smart and beautiful babies, big color variety. Please visit

Sept 2 thru 4 The 2nd Annual Northern Rockies ISSR Shiloh Picnic
We had a really great turn out this year with shiloh folk coming from far and wide Texas, Washington, Alberta and of course
Montana. Here are a few photos from the 3 day event!!

Well, it is finally here! Aurora came into heat EXACTLY 6 mos to the day she did in December! I wanted her to come into heat
early, but no she does it the way it is suppose to do. Funny how that works!
Well, as I told you, I do not bring up winter puppies or want them to go to their new homes in the winter, so will not be breeding
her this time.
I am sorry for those of you that wanted a pup this year! I wanted a litter this year too! It will be my first year without babies!!!!!
But, as I believe in firmly......things always happen for a reason!
Now for the good news. She should come back into heat in December and be bred around the first of the year. Then she is
pregnant about 63 days. Then the pups grow up with me until they are at least 8 weeks
old. Soooooo, if my math is right.......pups should be ready for new homes in May!!!!! Perfect time to bring puppies up in their
new homes!
As the time gets closer and closer I will be putting updates on the web site.
